In order to participate as an Amateur Radio operator at the Boston Marathon, you may hold any class of Amateur Radio license issued by your country of residence, provided it permits transmission on the United States 2 Meter (144-148 MHz) and 70 Centimeter (420-450 MHz) Amateur bands.
For United States residents, a Technician license is sufficient to volunteer for the Boston Marathon.
