The Boston Athletic Association (BAA) sends volunteer assignments about a month before race day. Your assignment email will contain the team to which you have been assigned, your check-in time and location, and your team captain.
It's important to remember that final position assignments are made within a few days of the Boston Marathon to account for staffing changes. As a result, the check-in time and location for many Amateur Radio positions may change. Your segment coordinator (team captain) will provide you with your final arrival time and location.
